Greenbrier River Trail
A portion of the Greenbrier River Trail is closed due to the recent flooding. The 78-mile trail is known as GRT, is located in Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties and operated by the West Virginia State Park system. State officials say everything south of Mile Post 14-point-four is closed because of one major mudslide, numerous downed trees, washouts and other flood damages. It’s not clear when it will re-open but crews are working hard to clean things up.
