Hatfield laid to rest
Former Patriot Coal executive Bennett Hatfield has been laid to rest. Hatfield was shot and killed a little more than a week ago during a Mingo County robbery attempt and his funeral services were yesterday. Three people have been implicated in his death and murder charges are in place. The 59-year-old was in charge of the company that owned the Sago Mine when a dozen people were killed in a 2006 accident and also ran Patriot coal.
