Healthier Eating in WV
The push to promote healthier eating continues in the Mountain State. The Seafood Nutrition Partnership will promote a diet with more fish at a conference next week in Charleston. According to figures from the SNP, the number-one killer in West Virginia is heart disease and the state has the fourth-highest level of cardiovascular disease. The SNP says a diet of seafood a few times a week can reduce the risk of heart disease by as much as 17-percent.
