Home invasion

West Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal shooting in a suspected home invasion in Logan County. State Police tell media outlets they received a call about a burglary at a home about 4 a.m. Sunday in Pecks Mill. When troopers arrived, 49-year-old John Ellis of Pecks Mill was found fatally shot. No arrests were immediately made and the shooting remains under investigation
