Hospital merging

A proposed merger between Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center is in the courts. A request has been made by a company opposing the deal to see documents used by the state to look into the proposal. A Kanawha County judge yesterday said he needs time to review the paperwork and is not sure when he will be finished. The deal is on hold for the time being.
