I-64 Project Finishes in Huntington

The state has completed a two-year project to widen a section of Interstate 64 in Huntington to six lanes. Work on the $18 million project began in April 2013. A section of about four miles was widened from the 29th Street to Hal Greer Boulevard exits. During construction, the speed limit was reduced to 50 miles per hour, but it’s back at 65 now.
