Japanese Company Celebrates 20 Years in Sissonville
A Japanese firm is celebrating its 20th year of business in West Virginia. NGK Spark Plug Manufacturing Inc. opened a plant to assemble oxygen sensors for cars in Sissonville in March 1995. The expanded facility began spark plug production in 2008. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined company representatives last night at Edgewood Country Club in Charleston to celebrate, and the governor continues to work on drawing other firms to the Mountain State.
