Republican Governor Jim Justice is reaching back across the aisle and supporting Democrat Joe Manchin for the U.S. Senate. The one-time Democrat told a group of Republicans yesterday that Joe Manchin is Donald Trump’s “liaison” with the Democrats so for that reason he is supporting his long-time friend. Manchin’s Senate seat is expected to be a hotly contested seat with Republicans Evan Jenkins and Patrick Morrisey facing off in the primary.
