Kanawha River Cleanup

The 28th annual Great Kanawha River Cleanup is set for the end of September. The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is sponsoring the clean-up, which will cover Winfield Beach, St. Albans Roadside Park, the South Charleston boat ramp and Kanawha Falls at Glen Ferris. Volunteers are needed for the September 29th event and the Department says tons of trash gets collected and disposed of properly yearly thanks to the efforts.
