Landslide Takes Toll on Aiport’s Finances

It’s costing almost a million dollars to fix the slide at Yeager Airport, and that’s putting financial stress on operations. The airport isn’t getting any federal dollars and there are no reimbursements so far. The airport also has a big solar project pending, and that could be on hold, along with a runway rehabilitation project that’s planned in 2017. The airport board is weighing all of its options.
