Long Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest

A big arrest for sheriff’s deputies on Thursday. Members of the Kanawha County SWAT team were called in to help the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office STOP team in the execution of a search warrant related to a lengthy narcotics investigation for a home at 828 Indiana Avenue, in Charleston. 43-year old Willie Charles Saunders was arrested and charged with distribution of heroin. Saunders was taken to South Central Regional Jail after he was unable to post bond.
