Man accused of shooting friend in the forehead

Boone County deputies arrested 29-year-old Ricky Nelson for shooting his friend in the forehead. It happened on Low Gap Road, just south of Danville. Nelson and another man got into a fight when Nelson pulled a gun and shot him. The victim is in stable condition at CAMC. Nelson fled the scene and was arrested a couple hours later.
