Man tries to rob grandmother for drug money

A Nitro man is under arrest for trying to rob his grandmother for drug money. Police say Cole Cooper forced his grandmother to drive him to the Sunoco station so she could cash a check for him. When she refused, he turned violent. Store clerks helped the grandmother and called police. Cooper is charged with robbery.
