Mason School to Have Increased Police Presence After Threat
Wednesday’s school threat at Wahama Jr/Sr High School in Mason may have an impact on classes for the rest of the year. Students were let out of school early Wednesday after the threat, and in fact it was so early some bus drivers were still dropping kids off at school around 8:30 when students were sent home. They’re not saying what kind of threat was made, but they are following up on leads. The last day of school is June 11, and extra police will be around the school until then. Graduation is Friday at 7 p.m., and there will be extra law enforcement there too.
