New Contraflow Lane Causes Congestion

The new contraflow lane that opened early Wednesday up as part of the I-64 construction project is getting backed up as drivers try to navigate the new traffic pattern. The lane was backed up for miles Wednesday morning along Interstate 64 in Putnam County near the Teays Valley exit. Merging onto I-64 is a slow process as drivers go from Teays Valley towards Charleston.
