New Traffic Pattern Takes Effect on I-64

A new traffic pattern will take effect today along Interstate 64 in Charleston. Starting today crews will shift the direction of the contraflow lane at the Eugene Carter Memorial Bridge, also know as the Fort Hill Bridge. One lane of westbound traffic will now use the contraflow lane on the eastbound side of I 64. Construction is expected to wrap up in October.
