Nitro Honors History

Folks in Nitro are coming together to remember World War 1 history. The City Council this week talked about the new park that will commemorate Nitro’s heritage, and they’re offering brick pavers to honor those who served. The bricks cost $25 each and they’ll be engraved for a family member who served, and they’ll become a permanent fixture at the par. Construction should start in June.
