One Arrested in Cross Lanes as Part of Drug Investigation

Another arrest as officers try to crack down on drugs. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office’s STOP Team served a search warrant Wednesday at an apartment on Greywood Drive in Cross Lanes as part of a larger investigation into drug trafficking, and that led to the arrest of 59-year old Darrell Spicer. At the apartment Deputy Sheriffs seized more than 94 grams of heroin, eight grams of marijuana, and more than $7,000 cash. Spicer was previously convicted of several felonies and was on supervised federal probation prior to this latest arrest He faces a possession with intent to deliver charge now.
