Police Look for Suspects After Elkins Scuffle

Police in Elkins are looking for a man involved in a scuffle with an officer Monday. Elkins Police Chief Craig Cross tells The Inter-Mountain that while responding to reports of gunfire Monday, Senior Patrolman K.A. Shiflett stopped a man and searched him, then the man removed a handgun from his right pocket and tried to turn toward the officer, but eventually fled on foot. Anyone with tips should call police.
