Pre-K

Pre-K education is showing benefits in West Virginia. Marshall University took part in a study that found children who attended Pre-K outperformed those who had no Pre-K experience in every measure. Benefits also included Pre-K students were most profound in print knowledge and classroom work was higher quality. The study was launched last summer and includes nearly 600 children in seven West Virginia counties.
