Putnam County official need updated addresses from Liberty

Putnam County officials want some residents to update their information if they’ve moved…the request coming after 40% of the tax statements sent out to folks around Liberty were returned. The county says those addresses need to be updated to stay in compliance with state and national standards. Officials say it’s not that the raw number of returns is unusual, more that so many are from one particular area.
