Putnam County Park Gets Major Upgrades

Work is progressing at a Putnam County Park. Valley Park is undergoing a $15 million renovation project and walls are going up now on the new 30,000 square foot community center. When the work is finished they’ll have all-new tennis courts, soccer fields and a playground that works well for all abilities. Most of the park has been closed for the repairs and that will continue through May 2018. The pool area is also getting an upgrade an will be open in time for next summer’s swim season.
