Research Project will get 1 million

Nearly one million dollars from the U.S. Department of Agriculture will be used for a research project at West Virginia State University. The school is getting 900- thousand dollars to study how the use of genetic techniques improves the quality and health benefits of fruits and
vegetables. The students will be studying peppers and watermelon.
