Resource Center Expands

The Charleston Family Resource Center hopes to provide a safe place for kids after school with some new space. The center expands to open the Risen City Center on the West Side near the corner of 4th Avenue and Florida Street. The same group runs the East End Family Resource Center. The Charleston Family Resource Center offers a kids’ nutrition program, free after school care, a free diaper pantry, and other resources for parents. With the expansion, the group hopes to reach more people in the Charleston area.
