Sissonville Accident Victim is Identified

More now on a head-on crash that happened Monday night on Rocky Fork Road near Collindale Circle in Sissonville. One of the drivers of the cars died from his injuries. Chief Deputy Mike Rutherford at the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says a Chevy Spark hatchback was going south on Rocky Fork Road, and a Ford F-350 pickup was going north and they hit head-on. 53-year old James William Mundy of South Charleston died at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but drugs or alcohol aren’t suspected, and it wasn’t a case of distracted driving, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
