Sobriety Chekcpoint Planned for Friday Night

Heads up for drivers on Friday night…the Kanawha County Sheriff’s office is conducting a high visibility sobriety checkpoint from 6pm to midnight on US Rt. 119 near Elk View. This is another one of several random checkpoints set up throughout the year to keep drunk and impaired drivers off the roads, as part of an overall zero tolerance policy
