Thieves throw car batteries at police cruiser

Officers in Mingo County were pursuing a stolen truck in the Breeden area when a passenger wearing a black ski mask began throwing stolen items at the police cruiser. The suspects threw seven car batteries, a wheel, and a motorcycle seat out of the back of the truck. After the truck stopped, the driver, Billy Bob Spurlock III, and three other people fled on foot, and are still at large. Two women were taken into custody.
