Three People Are Okay After Charleston Fire

Flames forced three people and a dog out of their home early Monday in Charleston. The fire broke out at a home in the 1100 block of Garvin Avenue just before 3am, and flames and smoke were coming out of a window by the time firefighters got there. They managed to keep the flames confined to the living room and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
