Two Pratt Firefighters Killed Responding to Wong-Way Crash
Flags are at half staff at the Pratt Volunteer Fire Department after two firefighters were killed Saturday evening while responding to a bad accident on the West Virginia Turnpike. Three people were killed in the accident just after 5 p.m. Saturday when West Virginia State Police said a vehicle was traveling north bound in the south bound lane. A man and woman in the car traveling in the wrong direction were killed in the crash, and another woman in a car that they hit was also killed. The firefighters were on their way to that accident when their truck struck a rock face on the side of the road. Three other firefighters were injured. West Virginia State police are investigating both crashes.
