Unemployment Rate Sliding

West Virginia’s unemployment rate is sliding. State numbers released yesterday show the rate fell to five-percent last month, which is also significantly lower than at the same time a year ago. The unemployment rate only increased in 13 out of the state’s 55 counties. Several counties had an unemployment rate below four percent, including Morgan and Monroe.
