Woody Thrasher

Governor-elect Jim Justice is naming businessman Woody Thrasher as the state’s new commerce secretary. Thrasher owns the electrical and architectural company The Thrasher Group in Harrison County and will assume the government position next month when Justice takes office. He is chair of the Alumni Association of WVU and is going to give up day to day operations of his firm while he is Commerce Secretary.
