WV Unemployment rate

West Virginia’s unemployment rate is unchanged. WorkForce West Virginia said yesterday that the rate stayed locked in at six-and-a-half-percent last month but the number of unemployed state residents increased by 600. Employment was up in construction, but down in mining and logging and manufacturing. There were also increases in education, health services and hospitality.
