WVU Commencement moving forward
West Virginia University’s Commencement will go forward as planned, despite the discovery of asbestos at the school’s Coliseum. The Coliseum was shut down but reopened on Monday after samples met regulatory approval. Samples of material that was exposed during demolition activities on Friday afternoon at the Coliseum tested positive for containing asbestos. Commencement ceremonies are scheduled for May 13th through the 15th.
