WVU fundraiser

West Virginia University’s “State of Minds” fundraiser has brought in more than its one-billion dollar goal over a year before the deadline. During a special announcement at Erickson Alumni Center, school officials announced the goal had been surpassed as of August 31st by over three-point-six-million dollars. The campaign was launched in June, 2012 with a goal of raising 750-million by the summer of 2015, and was later expanded and extended when the original goal was reached a year early.
