WVU Study
A renewed focus on graduating more students from West Virginia’s public higher education institutions appears to be paying off. A new WVU study shows 25-hundred more graduates were working in West Virginia in 2014 than in 2013 and researchers say it’s due to an increase in available graduates for the workforce. In-state students were far more likely to work in West Virginia after graduation than out-of-state students. The study points to a focus by the state on improving higher education graduations.
