Yeager Airport Gets New Chief of Police

A familiar face in law enforcement has been hired on as Yeager Airport’s chief of police. Former St. Albans police chief Joe Crawford gets the job, and becomes the airport security director following the retirement of former chief Robert Long. The Gazette-Mail says more personnel moves may be on the way , perhaps as soon as Wednesday during a meeting of the airport’s board of directors. The changes come after the March hillside collapse, and the resignation of airport director Rick Atkinson last month.
